An affordable and robust pulley. The sides are fixed and stand apart from each other to allow the rope to be inserted. I prefer this as it can be less fiddly when inserting the rope. Some may prefer a moveable side by I find the simplicity an advantage as * (Posted on 14/09/2019)

Easier to use than pulley with rotating side plates. However, I found it fits better on a small locking pear 'biner than an oval. Haven't tried with prussic knot for auto-lock, but read somewhere it still works that way. (Posted on 14/09/2019)
