This thing is light. Are you a beginner climber and want your first ATC? Get this one. Skip the package that BD made with the fat pear carabiner and get this one with a gridlock. Best combination ever. Slightly pricier but knowing how to use an ATC in guide mode means that you just bought your first piece of outdoor climbing gear! So cool!
I prefer this ATC Guide over the other brand that makes the Reverso because it's cheaper. That's all. Feeds rope well, doesn't fit fatter than 9.8. Gym ropes are 9.8-10.1 usually so BE AWARE!
