Life-cast silicone simulates human skin adding realism to improve trainee skill and confidence. The wound packing Trainer Thigh is designed to allow users to demonstrate and practice wound packing techniques with suitable gauze for a large junctional arterial wound. The large femoral wound has a sim-blood delivery system for instructor-controlled bleeding. Too high up the leg for effective tourniquet use training with this model improves trainee skill and confidence in treating this type of critical injury.
