xOur Arc flash Vented Hood is manufactured by Sherwood and contains quality materials from DuPont Nomex and Paulson USA.
This Vented Hood provides Arc flash head protection and allows operators to be efficient and safe around Arc flash environments. Suitable for working in HRC4 environments up to 43cal/cm².
To achieve a higher cal/cm2 rating, such as 75cal/cm2, additional garments can be layered and worn per NFPA 70E to reach the desired cal/cm2.E.g Layer up with a 34cal/cm2 Balaclava, 9.6cal/cm2 Coverall and 9.6cal/cm2 Arc flash inner glove to achieve above a 75cal/cm2 rating.
