Summary

  • Known as Reverse Action Ratchet / Pull-Down Ratchet
  • Recommended Applications: General freight & transport | Construction & infrastructure | Warehousing & logistics | Mining & resources
  • The pull-down feature allows body weight to assist in reaching the pre-tension required force, reducing wrist/shoulder strain compared to pushing up.
  • ERGO SHORT HANDLE (Pull-Down) achievable pre-tension of 400-500kgf
  • Standard ratchets (push up), achievable pre-tension of 300-350kgf

Feature Highlights

  • Heavy-duty 50mm wide steel ratchet body with corrosion-resistant finish
  • Positive double-pawl lock; smooth take-up and controlled release
  • Batch-traceable with lot ID
  • 50mm High-Strength UV-Resistant Polyester Webbing with Hook & Keeper end-fittings as standard
  • AS/NZS 4380 compliant with all load restraint code of practice
  • UV-resistant webbing features ensure reliable performance over time, even in harsh sunlight and tough weather conditions
  • Each tie-down includes two corner wear protectors. These offer extra durability at the corners, safeguarding both the load and the webbing from damage during transport

Safe Use & Compliance

  • Choose an LC appropriate to the restraint plan; pre-tension (STF) ≠ LC
  • Use corner protection on sharp edges; avoid twists and knots
  • Re-tension after load settlement; never use webbing for lifting
  • Inspect Ratchet and Strap before each use; remove ratchet strap from service if cuts or fraying, chemical damage, friction damage, or de-rating defects are present
