xAustlift special purpose shackle are generally used for electrical industries and in railway lines.
• Generally conforms to AS1154.2. • Made from high tensile steel in bow configuration with Safety Pin and hot dipped galvanised finish & stainless steel humpback split pin. • Suitable for holding applications. • Insulator & conductor fittings for overhead power lines.
Please note: With shackles in high temperatures, both grade S and grade M need the following derating if used in applications higher than 200 degrees Celsius. If used between 200 to 300 degrees then a 10% derate is needed If used between 300 to 400 degrees then a 25% derate is needed Above 400 degrees neither shackle can be used.
