xThe LifeStraw Universal Bottle Adapter is the first bottle adapter kit with a two-stage filter, which removes 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.9% of protozoa while also reducing chemicals and bad tastes and odours. Two different sized caps allow you to instantly turn your favourite water bottle into a powerful water filter.
The filter uses advanced hollow fibre membrane technology to remove waterborne bacteria and protozoa for up to 1,000 litres. The second stage of filtration, a replaceable activated carbon capsule, improves taste, and reduces chlorine and organic chemical mattersuch as pesticides, herbicides and VOCs for up to 100 litres.
This universal LifeStraw adapter is compatible with most water bottle models across Nalgene, Camelbak, Under Armour, Klean Kanteen, and other standard bottles. It will fit any bottle with a compatible mouth diameter, threading, and bottle height (see Specifications).
Made from recyclable materials, this adapter exceeds NSF42 standards for chlorine removal, meets US EPA drinking water standards, has US FDA approval, and is considered food-grade.
