xScotch Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 is a conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape. Scotch Tape 2228 consists of ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing coated with a strong, temperature-stable mastic adhesive. The tape is 1.65 mm thick for quick application build up.
Scotch Tape 2228 offers excellent resistance to UV exposure and is intended for both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications.
